裝修進展 2025

October 16th: All carpet tiles are installed! Lower cabinet has doors. Painting on the wall with the cross was also complete.

October 15th: Upper cabinets were installed. One step closer to the finish line!

October 14th: Painting work continued. New base cabinet installation has started.

October 13th: Carpet tiles installation is complete on the “classroom” side. The counter reconfiguration has been started. We’ll have a smaller but more efficient reception counter.

October 11th: Carpet tiles installation continued. Furniture was moved to the carpeted area. Do we have enough carpet tiles? We may need more. The old ceiling tiles look dirty within the freshly painted walls. We don’t have the budget to replace all the ceiling tiles. Well, they still work.

October 10th: Carpet tile installation started! Piece after piece, brother Paul and Ah-kin were doing great work!October 9th: painting of the two major walls were done! It looks like the holes and cracks of the walls were repaired. Looking good from afar.

October 8th: the contractors worried about the schedule. If the original carpet was glued down with tough adhesives, it would take a long time to remove. Look at that! At least half of the carpets were removed in two days! God is good.

October 6th: renovation started! Juanna ran to the center to meet and greet the contractors, Paul and Ah-kin. She started with prayers with them. Then, she managed to talk to the parking management and the security. They granted us two free parking spots for one month! Why should we worry? God has provided.
Then, the contractors ran into water supply problem. We did not have the key to get water to do the work. The right persons came. Ms. Sze and Ms. Yuyu assisted with grateful hearts. They offered all they can. Praise the Lord! It was a great start.

October 4th, 2025: James, Tammy, Mr. Quan, Kai-yuen and Hannah get the center ready for the renovation. We assisted the renovation contractor to cleared up half of the center so that the carpet removal can take place easier. Meanwhile, we were struggling with parking issues for the contractors. How do we provide two parking stalls for the workers? Our budget was already tight. We prayed and hopefully, the security of the Plaza can grant us some parking spaces.
